System Manager is the central component of Sage 300. It controls access to all the accounting programs and manages information used by these programs. More...
System Manager establishes the core system and features of Sage 300. It provides tools for setting up and maintaining the system, including:
- Administrative Services. You use the screens in this module to activate data, check data integrity, identify incomplete processing, maintain user information, and allow the backup and restoration of databases.
- Common Services. You use the screens in this module to maintain the company profile, fiscal calendar, schedules for recurring transactions, optional fields (if installed), currencies, tax information, and bank information.
You also use System Manager to:
- Maintain databases and information for each company whose accounting records you keep.
- Manage security settings.
- Customize the desktop (for example, by hiding fields that you do not use).
- Set up warnings and notifications (for example, to remind users when recurring transactions are scheduled for processing).
- Create macros to automate common tasks.
Depending on your purchase agreement, some features described here may not be available in your product.
