Sage 300 home page

The Sage 300 home page has a toolbar across the top. The rest of the page shows applications that are available to you.

On the toolbar you specify a site and a mode for accessing applications, and then you use the Applications icons to start Sage 300 and other applications.

Toolbar

The fields where you specify a site and a mode are in the middle of the toolbar. There are other tools and features at the right side of the toolbar.

Site

The site for your company (or companies) is created as part of the initial purchase and set up of Sage 300.

If you have set up only one site, that site is automatically selected. If you have set up multiple sites, you can switch between them.

Important! Before switching sites, save your work and close all screens and applications. When you switch sites, all screens and applications are closed, and unsaved work is lost.

Mode

Specify one of the following modes in which to run applications:

  • Browser Mode. Run applications directly in your favourite browser. For a list of supported browsers, see Software requirements.

  • Windows Mode. Run applications in a remote desktop window. To use this mode, you must open the Sage 300 home page in Internet Explorer or Edge Chromium.
