About importing and exporting data

When importing or exporting data, you'll experience the best performance if you import from, or export to, your Data Drive (F:\SharedData), as follows:

• Importing. If the files you want to import are not located on your Data Drive, copy the files to your Data Drive, and then import them from your Data Drive into Sage 300.
• Exporting. Export data to your Data Drive. After doing this, you can copy the exported files to your local drive.
