O/E Sales History Detail Screen

  1. Open Order Entry > O/E Statistics and Inquiries > Sales History.
  2. Specify criteria, and then click the Go Go button button to view results.
  3. In the table, click a detail line to select it, and then click the Details button.

Displays the number and name of the customer that purchased the selected item.

Displays the number and description of the item purchased by the selected customer.

The table displays information about sales history for the item or customer you selected.

After selecting a detail line in the table, you can click the Document button to view the document in the original transaction entry screen.

For serialized and lotted items, you can also click the Serial/Lot Numbers button to view information about serial and lot numbers and kitting item components

Displays the code for the item category (which defines the General Ledger accounts for sales, returns, cost of goods sold, cost variance, and damaged goods).

Displays the original item purchase cost.

  • You need Cost Inquiry authorization for Inventory Control to view this field.
  • If you use multicurrency accounting, this amount appears in the currency you select on the Currency list (functional or customer).

Displays the sequence number assigned to the transaction during Day End Processing.

Displays the transaction entry number assigned during Day End processing.

Displays the location from which the item was shipped.

Displays the date the order was processed.

Displays the number assigned to the order.

When you view sales history for a customer number, this field displays the period in which the customer purchased items from your company.

When you view sales history for an item number, this field displays the period in which customers purchased the item.

Note: You specify on the Processing tab of the O/E Options screen whether to accumulate sales history and statistics by calendar year or fiscal year, and the period type to use.

Displays the quantity of items sold in the transaction.

Displays the total amount (excluding taxes and miscellaneous charges) of returns posted for the customer or item in the specified range of years and periods.

Note: If you use multicurrency accounting, this amount appears in the currency you select on the Currency list (functional or customer).

Displays the primary salesperson assigned to the document.

Displays the ship date specified during order entry.

Displays the territory code assigned to the customer.

Note: You use the A/R Customers screen to assign a territory to a customer, but you can specify a different territory when entering a transaction.

Displays the date the transaction was processed.

Displays the number assigned to the transaction.

You can click the linked transaction number to view the transaction in the associated entry screen (for example, to view an invoice in the O/E Invoice Entry screen).

Displays the type of transaction (invoice, credit note, or debit note).

When you view sales history for a customer number, this field displays the calendar year or fiscal year in which the customer purchased items from your company.

Overview

Use the O/E Sales History Detail screen to:

  • View a list of documents posted in a range of fiscal years and periods for an item or customer.
  • Drill down to view documents in the original transaction entry screen.
  • For documents that include serialized or lotted items, view serial numbers or lot numbers allocated in the document.
  • For documents that include kitting items, view kitting item components.

After selecting a detail line in the table, you can click the Document button to view the document in the original transaction entry screen.
