Receiving Goods from Vendors

Entering Adjustments to Existing Receipts

Returning Goods to Vendors

You use the I/C Receipts screen to record the receipt of items into inventory, the return of items to suppliers, and adjustments.

Tip: You can process receipts either in Inventory Control or Purchase Orders.

There are no restrictions on the number of detail lines (items) you can enter on receipts.

The Quantity Returned field is only available on a return. You can enter an Adjusted Cost only on an adjustment

You can enter returns and adjustments on posted receipts that you have not yet marked as complete.

For more information on the types of information you can change on an existing receipt, see About Receipt Adjustments.

Multicurrency Ledgers

If you have a multicurrency system, you specify the receipt currency and the currency to use for any additional costs when you enter the receipt. The Additional Cost currency must be the same as either the receipt currency or your company's functional (home) currency.
