Working with Detail Entry Tables
Several windows in Sage 300 Payroll contain detail entry tables that show record details in tabular format. In most cases, you can enter all the necessary details right on the table. For example, the Pay tab of the Employees Payroll window contains a table that lists the employee's earnings and deductions. You can edit the information within the table in several ways.
Edit directly on the table
Edit the fields directly on each detail line of the table, scrolling right or left as necessary. If there are more columns than can be displayed at one time, you can use the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the table to view the additional columns.
Add a detail line in the table
- If the table is empty, highlight the first line and enter the fields.
- To start a new line, press the Import key on your keyboard. If you want to insert a new line in a particular location, highlight the line above the location, then press Import.
