Using the Cheque List Window

The Cheque List window enables you to search for a payroll cheque or a group of payroll cheques using search criteria such as employee number, cheque date, document type, or posting status.

To Look Up Payroll Cheques

  1. Open Payroll Transactions > Cheque List.
  2. Enter any number of the following search criteria:
  3. Click the Go Go button button or press F7. The window then lists all the cheques in the system that match the search criteria you entered.  
  4. To print a payroll cheque, highlight the cheque and click Print. Depending on the type of cheque, one of the following windows opens:
    • Cheque Register — the cheque is not a historical entry and is posted.
    • Pre-Cheque Register — the cheque is not posted.
    • Transaction History — the cheque is a historical record.
  5. To display more details, double-click the cheque, or select the cheque and click Open. The Cheque Inquiry window then opens.
