I/C Sales Statistics Screen
Specify the item number for which you want to add, edit, or view sales statistics.
Specify the location code for which you want to add, edit, or view sales statistics.
Specify the year for which you want to add, edit, or view sales statistics. The Period Statistics table displays all periods for the selected year.
Displays the periods for the year you specify in the Year field for the Period Statistics table.
Enter the amounts for returns for the statistical period or year. If you use multicurrency accounting, enter amounts in your company's functional currency.
Enter the cost of goods returned for the statistical period or year. If you use multicurrency accounting, enter amounts in your company's functional currency.
Enter the number of returns transactions that occurred during the statistical period or year.
Enter the number of items returned (in stocking units) during the statistical period or year.
Enter the amounts for sales for the statistical period or year. If you use multicurrency accounting, enter amounts in your company's functional currency.
Enter the cost of goods sold for the statistical period or year. If you use multicurrency accounting, enter amounts in your company's functional currency.
Enter the number of sales transactions that occurred during the statistical period or year.
Inventory Control calculates the margin and displays the amount. Margin is calculated as:
(Sales amount - Sales cost) - (Returns amount - Returns cost)
Enter the number of items sold (in stocking units) during the statistical period or year.
Displays each year for which there are sales statistics.
Overview
Use the I/C Sales Statistics screen to:
- View sales and return statistics for inventory items.
- Enter sales and return quantities and amounts for the years and periods for which you keep data in Inventory Control (if you selected the Allow Edit of Statistics option on the I/C Options screen).
If you want to use the I/C Sales Statistics report to assist you in managing your inventory, use the I/C Sales Statistics screen to add sales and returns data for your inventory items during setup.
You can add sales data for reporting periods from the current year and from previous years. After setup, Inventory Control automatically updates these statistics when you run Day End Processing. If you select the Allow Edit Of Statistics option on the I/C Options screen, you can edit the statistics as needed.
- To edit sales data, you need security authorization for Day End Processing and/or Item Maintenance.
- If you use multicurrency accounting, enter amounts in your company's functional currency.
