Customizing the Inquiry (Item Inquiry)

This topic provides hints on arranging your Item Inquiry for optimal use and viewing:

  • Rearrange the columns
  • Resize the form
  • Resize the columns
  • Remove unused tabs
  • View one location only

Rearrange the Columns:

This can be used when resizing your form, to make the information columns you use most often display in the resized form.

Resize the Form:

This can be used to optimize your desktop space and change the size of the form to suit desktop space available.

Resize the Columns:

This can be used to shrink columns that may display with no data, or to enlarge columns with long data strings.

To resize a column, position the mouse at the right edge of the column header boundary. The mouse turns into a double-headed arrow. Click, hold and drag the edge of the column to the desired size.

Remove Unused Tabs:

Tabs that display information used most often can be left visible and others can be removed to optimize desktop space and simplify the display. Removing tabs also increases the loading speed.

View One Location Only:

This will allow you to view location specific details only. You may switch back to all locations to display all item location details. The tabs with locations are: Cust.Hist.Det., Cust.Hist.Sum., Location, P/O, Receipt Cost, Reorder Qty, S/O, Sales by Period, Serial No, Trans, UniSerials-On Hand, UniSerials-Trans, Stock Card-Detail and Qty.Avail.
