M/T Contacts Screen
Enter the contact's address, using up to four lines, with a maximum of 60 characters on each line.
Enter the name of the city where the contact is located, using up to 30 characters.
Two comment fields allow you to enter additional information for the contact.
To email communications from Sage 300 to the contact, you must select this option.
Enter the name of the country where the contact is located, using up to 30 characters.
Enter the contact's email address, using up to 255 characters.
Enter the contact's fax number.
Enter the contact's first name.
Select this option if you do not want to send any new communications to the contact.
You can make the contact active again at any time.
Enter the contact's job title.
This field displays the date of the last change made to the contact record.
Enter the contact's last name.
Enter the contact's middle name.
You can enter up to three phone numbers for the contact.
Enter a salutation for the contact (such as Mr or Mrs).
Enter the name of the state or province where the contact is located, using up to 30 characters.
Enter a website for the contact.
Enter the zip code or postal code for the contact's address.
If optional fields are assigned to contacts, use the Optional Fields tab to enter optional field information for the contact.
Optional fields and values appear automatically on this tab if you selected the Auto Insert option for those fields on the M/T Optional Fields setup screen.
Note: If an optional field is required but does not have a default value, you must specify a value for the field.

Select an optional field. You can select only optional fields that are assigned to contacts (in the M/T Optional Fields setup screen).
When you select an optional field code, the related description appears in the Optional Field Description column.
Select a value defined for the optional field.
When you select a value code, the related description appears in the Value Description column.
This field indicates whether there is a value specified for an optional field, which is mainly of use for blank optional fields:
- Yes. The field has a blank default value.
- No. The field has no value.
Overview
Use the Contacts screen to add, edit, and delete contacts for customers (including national accounts) and vendors.
You can assign multiple contacts to a single customer, national account, or vendor.
Tip: If you use Sage CRM integrated with Sage 300, you can export Person records from Sage CRM to automatically create contacts in Sage 300. For more information, see the Sage CRM Integration Guide.
