About Price Checks

In Inventory Control, price limits can be specified for items, price lists, and Sage 300 user IDs. (For more information, see the Inventory Control help.)

These price limits are checked when you enter a unit price for a detail. If the price is outside the allowed limits, you need to do one of the following:

• Change the price so it is within the allowed limits.
• Delete the detail.
• Approve the price (if you are authorized) or have an approver do so. For more information, see O/E Price Approval Screen.

Note: Price approval is available only in Sage 300 Premium.
