A/R Email Messages Screen
Enter a description for the message, using up to 60 characters.
Type the text of the email message.
You can use email message variables (which include many field names preceded by a dollar sign) to insert customer-specific or company-specific information in the message text. For more information, see Email Message Variables.

Select this option if you no longer want to use this email message.
Displays the date the last change was made to this email message.
Enter a code to identify this message, using up to 16 characters.
Select Statement (Email), Invoice (Email), Receipt (Email), or Letter (Email), depending on the purpose and method of delivery of this message.
Overview
You use the A/R Email Messages screen to:
- Create messages to send with emailed statements, letters, receipt confirmations, and invoices.
- Use variables (field names) from your company database so that the emailed messages will include customer- or company-specific information. For more information, see Email Message Variables.
You identify each email message with a unique 16-character Message ID code. When you select Customer as the delivery method on the A/R Statements/Letters/Labels screen and the A/R Invoices screen, you can select the message ID for the message you want to send with the statement, letter, invoice, or receipt confirmation.
