A/R Customer List Preview Screen
Overview
Use the A/R Customer List Preview screen to:
- Check a list you generate using the A/R Customer List screen before you print the list.
- Print the generated customer list. (You click the Print button on the Preview screen to print the generated customer list.)
- Open the A/R Customer Inquiry screen to display additional information for a customer.
Tip: You can use the A/R Customer Inquiry screen to drill down to view documents for a selected customer on the original entry screen or on the A/R Document Inquiry screen. This easy access to all Accounts Receivable information makes the Customer List Preview an excellent tool to use while you are talking to your customers, even if you do not intend to print the generated report.
Information Included in the Preview
The Customer List preview includes columns for all the criteria you selected on the Customer List screen, in the order you specified them, including:
- Customer accounts that match the criteria you selected on the Customer List screen.
- A column for the customer number, the customer name, and for each of your selection criteria, arranged in the order that you specified them.
If you specified salesperson criteria for more than one salesperson code, the list includes five salesperson columns.
If you specified one salesperson code, only one salesperson column appears on the list.
- Two or three credit limit columns, depending on the Credit Limit options you selected.
- If you used Comment Follow Up or Comment Expiration, the preview includes a second table that displays a list of comments for a selected customer.
Hiding or reordering columns on the preview list does not change their order on the report.
Columns for long optional fields may be truncated on the printed report, particularly if the optional fields are used with other criteria.
