I/C Inventory Reconciliation Report

Posting an Inventory Reconciliation

The Inventory Reconciliation report lets you compare actual physical inventory totals with the totals in your Sage 300 Inventory Control system. The report identifies discrepancies between item quantities and costs. It also shows the quantities and costs that the program will post during inventory reconciliation. Only items that have the Ready to post status will be posted.

To print the I/C Inventory Reconciliation report:

  1. Open Inventory Control > I/C Physical Inventory > Inventory Reconciliation.

  2. In the I/C Inventory Reconciliation Report screen, you can limit the locations included by specifying a range for From Location and To Location.
  3. Select Show Only Items with Quantity Variance if you want the report to only show the items that have a variance between the quantity on hand (as tracked by Inventory Control) and the physical count. The report then excludes items where the quantity matches the count.
  4. Select Include Comment for Each Item if you want the report to have a row (with a blank line) for each item. You can use this row to write remarks for your own information.
  5. Select Include Inactive Items if you want to include inactive items. If you have many inactive items, you can reduce the length of the report by not selecting this option.
  6. For Include, select how to show counts for units of measure:
    • All Units of Measure. The report shows counts for each unit of measure.
    • Stocking Unit Only. The report shows total quantities counted in the stocking unit of measure only. (Counts in other units of measure are converted to the stocking unit of measure.)
  7. Click Print.

The report appears in a new window. You can print the report or export it to a file.
