About Kitting Items

I/C Kitting Items Screen

Kitting items are collections of items that are priced and sold through Order Entry as a single item. They are often collected together at sale timeā€”such as a particular computer, keyboard, and monitor combination, or a back-to-school binder, pencil case, and felt pen set.

The cost of a kit is based on each individual item in the kit. If the price is based on costs, it is determined by the cost of all the items together.

Important! You use the I/C Items screen to create the master kitting item and create each component item. Then, you assemble the kit contents using the I/C Kitting Items screen.
