Visual Process Flows: Frequently Asked Questions
In the Visual Process Flow Designer, always save your work using the buttons at the top of the screen (Save and Save As). For more information, see Creating Custom Visual Process Flows.
To verify that all links work correctly (for example, that they open the correct screens), open the process flow and click each linked item. For more information, see Using Visual Process Flows .
A process flow can be used only by those people to whom it is assigned. For more information, see Assigning Visual Process Flows to Users.
Process flows are available only if you save them in specific folders.
Save your custom process flow in the ProcessFlow folder located in the Sage 300 shared data folder (typically C:\Sage\Sage300\SharedData\ProcessFlow\ENG). If you save your custom process flow to another location, it may not appear on the Assign Visual Process Flows screen, meaning you will not be able to assign it to users.
The Visual Process Flow Designer is used by multiple Sage business management solutions. Some fields and controls in the Visual Process Flow Designer are not used in Sage 300.
