Importing Data to General Ledger

Exporting General Ledger Data

You can import account records, transaction batches, and other records into an Sage 300 company from files created by other programs. You can also export data from a Sage 300 company for use in other programs.

You can use this feature to speed up your initial ledger setup, especially if you are converting data from a non-Sage 300 company to Sage 300 General Ledger.

Note: If importing fails, the system creates a restart record. You must remove the restart record before you can perform another import successfully.
