Making a Copy of Accounting Data

When you have created a macro, you should test it.

To copy your accounting data to test a macro:

1. Copy the files in \DATA\companydatabaseID to another folder (\DATA represents the folder in which the system administrator saved the company database; companydatabaseID is a subfolder with the company ID as the folder name).
2. If the macro updates currency information, also copy the files in \DATA\systemdatabaseID to another folder. (\DATA represents the folder in which the system administrator saved the system database; systemdatabaseID is a subfolder with the system ID as the folder name).
3. Use Database Setup to specify the new location of the database(s).
4. After testing the macro, repeat step 3 to specify the original location of the database(s).
