Over/Under Billings Report
The Over/Under Billings report provides a breakdown of your costs versus billings by contract or by contract and project, depending on the options you choose for the report.
Print the report to determine the progress of your billings before and after generating billing worksheets.
Features
The report includes columns that show, for each contract and (if you printed the report by contract and project) for each project listed on the report:
To print the Over/Under Billings report:
- Choose the Over/Under Billings icon from the PJC Analytical Reports folder.

Specify report options using the following fields:

Print By
Select the level of detail you want to include on the report. You can choose:
- Contract, to restrict the report to amounts for each contract in a selected range.
- Contract And Project, to print amounts for contracts and the projects assigned to those contracts, for the specified ranges of contracts and projects.
- Contract From/To
Specify the range of contract numbers to include on the report.
- Project From/To
These fields appear only if you selected Contract And Project in the Print By field. Specify the range of project numbers to include on the report.
- Customer Number From/To
Specify a range if you want to restrict the report to a range of customers. If you do not specify a range, the program includes contracts for all customers for the specified range of contract numbers.
- Contract Start Date/To
Select a range of contract start dates, if you want to restrict the report to contracts that began within the specified range of dates. (If you do not specify a range, the program prints the report regardless of the contract start dates.)
- Project Start Date/To
These fields appear only if you selected Contract And Project in the Print By field. Select a range of project start dates, if you want to restrict the report to project that began within the specified range of dates. (If you do not specify a range, the program prints the report regardless of the project start dates.)
- Contract Status
If you want to restrict the report to contracts with a certain status, specify the status in this field.
- Project Status
This field appears if you selected Contract And Project in the Print By field. If you want to restrict the report to projects with a certain status, specify the status in this field.
- Include Labor Amounts
Select this option to include labor burden amounts in the report cost totals. If you do not select this option, the report will exclude labor burden from the cost totals.
- Include Overhead Amounts
Select this option to include overhead amounts and the amounts from overhead categories in the report cost totals. If you do not select the option, the report will exclude all overhead amounts from the costs totals.

Use
Your selection for this field determines whether the program calculates the over- or under-billings based on the direct costs and gross profit for the current percentage complete or for the percentage complete used in the last billing.
- Print Amounts In
This field appears only if you have a multicurrency system. Specify whether to print the report in your customer's currency or in your functional currency.
- Click Print.
