Using the Employee Timecards Report
Print the Employee Timecards report to verify that the employee timecards are complete and accurate before you use them for payroll calculation.
Note: To print the report, your logon User ID must be assigned a Security Group ID that is set with the Timecard Entry access permission.
Information on the report
- Employee number and full name.
- Timecard description and status.
- Start and stop times, and number of hours worked for the day of the week.
- Shift schedule information.
- Total hours worked by each employee reported, and by all employees reported.
To print the report
- From Payroll Transaction Reports, select Employee Timecards.
- At the End Date From and To fields, enter the end date range of employee timecards to print.
- Enter the range of employees to print at the Employee Number From and To fields.
- If you want to include the employees in a selection list, choose that selection list.
- Choose whether to report only employee timecards whose status is new, ready for approval, or approved. Or, choose all three statuses to print all employee timecards regardless of status.
- Choose whether to print descriptions of the general ledger accounts on the report.
- If you use Sage 300 Project and Job Costing, choose whether to include job-related information on the report.
- If you have defined optional fields in Sage 300 Payroll for timecards, choose whether to include the optional fields on the report.
- To process the report, click Print. To cancel it, click .
