Fields related to overtime

Include in Regular Rate Calculation or Include in FLSA Calculation

If this option is selected, then it was selected on the Timecard or the Employee Payroll window. On a manual payroll check the option is not selected.

Straight Time Earnings

The Straight Time Earnings field only displays if one of the Regular Rate or FLSA overtime calculation methods was used to calculate overtime. It shows the straight time earnings for this detail line. For example, if this was an hourly rate with 8 hours at $8.00 per hour, the straight time earnings would be $64.00.

Overtime Rate Multiplier

If the earning used a Regular Rate or FLSA — Salary Fluctuating Hours method, the Overtime Rate Multiplier field displays .50000. Otherwise, the field shows the value of the overtime rate multiplier from the overtime schedule used for this overtime detail line.
