Tax Rates Screen

Overview

Note: Depending on how your system is set up, this desktop screen may also be available as a web screen. For more information, see the Web Screens Getting Started Guide or the help for Sage 300 web screens.

You use the Tax Rates screen to:

  • Enter tax rates for purchases and sales for each tax authority in your Sage 300 system.

    Sage 300 subledgers use these tax rates to calculate taxes on items you buy and sell.

    For each tax authority in your system, Tax Services creates tax tables for:

    • The customer classes and item classes that you defined for sales.
    • The vendor classes and item classes that you defined for purchases.
  • Edit tax rates if they change.
