Connecting Bank Feeds
Bank feeds enable you to download your bank transactions.
These transactions are then automatically matched to those in Sage 300, making bank reconciliation faster, easier, and more reliable.
You can connect bank feeds for any bank account in Sage 300.
Before you start:
- In theSage 300 Company Profile, ensure the following are filled up:
- Tax Number
- Business Registration Number
- City, State or Province
- Postal code or Zip code
- Country
- Contact Telephone number
- Gather your online banking information. During the process of connecting to bank feeds, you'll need to enter some of this information.
To connect a bank feed:
- Open Common Services > Bank Services > Bank Transactions > Reconcile E-Statements.
- In the Bank Code field, enter the code for the bank you are connecting to a bank feed.
- Click Connect Bank Feed
- If this is the first bank feed to ever be connected in your Sage 300 system, you must enter an email address (also known as your Sage ID), which is used to communicate information you may later need to reactivate a bank feed.
- If your Sage 300 company was previously configured with bank feeds, starting from the 2025 Product Update 2, you’ll need to update your bank feeds configuration.
- Select a bank previously configured with bank feeds or select a bank you wish to connect to bank feeds for the first time.
- The process begins when you attempt to perform either a Get Transaction or Connect Bank Feeds.
- You will be asked to enter a new or existing Sage ID.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions and click Get Started.
- Select your bank.
- Enter your banking credentials and select the account.
- Choose a Start Date for your historical transactions. The system will attempt to download historical transactions as of that date.
- Click Process.
When the system detects that the company has been previously configured with bank feeds, it will prompt you to update your setup.
Establishing the connection between Sage 300 and your bank may take some time, so you may not immediately be able to download transactions from the bank feed. Once the connection is established, you can download and then automatically reconcile transactions. For more information, see Reconciling E-Statements.
