Matching Transactions from E-Statements to Bank Transactions

When you click Reconcile on the Reconcile E-Statements screen, Sage 300 transactions are automatically matched to transactions from the e-statement if they have the same transaction amount and at least one of the following:

Also, most of the above will match if the information in Sage 300 is in the Comment 2 field in the e-statement, even if the Comment 2 field includes additional information (for example, if the payment description in Sage 300 is Check 900 and the Comment 2 field in the e-statement is Invoice 2286 Goods - Check 900).

  • The payee name and payee ID in the e-statement may not be displayed on the Reconcile E-Statements screen. If they are displayed, they'll be displayed in one of the Comment fields.
  • If you are matching deposits by transaction, and the program matches at least one detail in a deposit, the deposit's status is set to Reconcile By Deposit Detail. This applies only to deposits that can contain multiple receipts (such as those entered through Accounts Receivable).
