Deleting Tax Authorities

If you no longer need to remit taxes to a specific tax authority, you can delete the record for that tax authority.

Before deleting a tax authority, make sure you no longer need its tax rates and classes. You cannot delete a tax authority if it is currently assigned to a tax group.

To delete a tax authority:

  1. Open Common Services > Tax Services > Tax Authorities.
  2. Using the Finder, select the code you wish to delete.
  3. Click Delete.

    All tax rates and classes for this authority code will also be deleted.
