O/E Kitting/BOM Components Screen

  1. Open  Order Entry > O/E Transactions.
  2. Select a transaction entry screen, such as Order Entry.
  3. On the Details table, select a detail line for a kitting item or a BOM item.
  4. Click the Details button.

A bill of materials can include a component that is also a BOM. The Component BOM Number field displays the identifying number of this BOM within a BOM.

Displays the item number for a component.

Displays the unit of measure used for the unit cost of a component.

Displays the description for a component.

The quantity shipped multiplied by the unit weight.

Displays the unit of measure used for stocking a component.

Displays the quantity of a component included in the kit.

For a component that is a non-stock item, this field displays the non-stock clearing account used by the item's account set.

Displays the unit of measure used for stocking a component.

Displays the available quantity of a component at the location specified in the detail for the kit or BOM. You can click the quantity number displayed in this field to see more inventory details for the component.

Displays the quantity of a component included in the invoice (calculated based on the number of kits or BOMs invoiced).

Displays the quantity of a component included in the order (calculated based on the number of kits or BOMs ordered).

Displays the quantity of a component included in the shipment (calculated based on the number of kits or BOMs shipped).

Indicates if a component is a serialized or lotted item.

Displays the unit of measure used for stocking a component.

Displays the unit cost of a component.

Displays the unit of measure for a component.

Displays the weight of a component.

Displays the unit of measure used for weighing a component.

Displays a description of the unit of measure used for weighing a component.

Overview

Use the O/E Kitting Components screen or O/E BOM Components screen to:

  • Review the components that make up a kit or BOM.
  • Enter serial/lot numbers for kitting components, if necessary.
  • Enter unit prices for kitting components, if you do not want to use the default unit prices.
