Printing an Order Confirmation Immediately After Posting
You can print an order confirmation immediately after posting an order, or you can print confirmations for a range of orders using the O/E Order Confirmations screen. For more information, see O/E Order Confirmations Screen.
Note: If you are shipping goods (and, optionally, producing an invoice) you can also print a picking slip and an invoice.

Order Entry includes three formats that you may be able to use when printing order confirmations:
- OECONF01.RPT A complete order confirmation (including lines and borders) that you can print on plain paper using a laser or ink-jet printer.
- OECONF02.RPT An order confirmation for preprinted forms.
- OECONF03.RPT An order confirmation used for Internet orders entered through iConnect Sales Orders.
You can also use Crystal Reports to customize a format for your requirements. For more information, see Customizable Formats for Printed Order Entry Forms.
- Check the print destination.
- If you are planning to send these forms by email, make sure that:
- An Email delivery method is selected in the Accounts Receivable customer record, and that the email addresses are up to date.
- Email messages exist for these forms in Order Entry. If you need to create email messages, see Creating E-mail Messages .

To print an order confirmation after posting an order:
- Use the O/E Order Entry form to create a new order, and then click Post.
The Confirmation screen appears.
- Click Yes.
The O/E Order Confirmations screen appears, displaying the order number you posted.
- In the Use Confirmation field, select the format to use for printing the order confirmation.
- Specify the delivery method to use for sending the confirmation to the customer. More...
- Review the options on the screen, and change selections as required.

- If you want to review the order confirmation before printing, or to print a test copy and verify that information is aligned correctly on a preprinted form, click Align.
- Click Print.
