Changing or Deleting Mask Structures

If you use Serialized Inventory and Lot Tracking, you use the Mask Structures screen in the I/C Setup folder to define formats, or mask structures, for your serial numbers and lot numbers.

Note: You cannot edit or delete a mask if any serial numbers or lot numbers have been assigned to inventory units using that mask structure.

To change mask structures:

1. Open Inventory Control > I/C Setup > Mask Structures.

2. Use the Finder for the Structure Code field to select the mask structure to edit.
3. Enter the changes to the mask structure.
4. Click Save.

To delete mask structures:

1. Open Inventory Control > I/C Setup > Mask Structures.

2. Use the Finder for the Structure Code field to select the mask structure to delete.
3. Click Delete, and then confirm the deletion.
