You can quarantine lots in the following ways:
- You can quarantine a range of lots and a range of items using the Lot Numbers screen.
- Specific items can be put on quarantine immediately when they are received if the Days on Quarantine option is selected in the I/C Items record.
Lotted inventory items may be placed on quarantine if they have defects that must be resolved before the items are sold, or if you must provide paperwork and/or duties to customs authorities before the items can be used. Once the issues have been resolved, you can release the lots from quarantine.
Releasing Lots from Quarantine
You use the I/C Quarantine Release screen to release lots you have placed on quarantine.
Note: You must release all quantities of a quarantined lot, or none.
