Adding Picking Sequences / Bin Numbers to Items

Because they can be different at each inventory location, picking sequences or bin numbers are part of an item's location details.

Find out the picking sequence code or bin number to use for the item at each inventory location.

To add picking sequences / bin numbers to items:

  1. Open Inventory Control > I/C Items and Price Lists > Location Details.

  2. In the Item Number field, enter the item number, or use the Finder to select it.
  3. If the location does not appear in the table, add the location details as usual. (For more information see Assigning Items to Locations.)
  4. In the table, select (highlight) the location where you want to add the picking sequence, and then:
    1. Double-click in the Picking Sequence column.
    2. Type the picking sequence number (often a bin number).
  5. Click Save.
