Changing Column Order in Data Entry Forms
You can permanently or temporarily change the order in which columns appear on many Sage 300 forms.
For example, you can change the order of the Sales Tax Class and Description columns to match the field order of a document from which you are entering data.
To move a column

Point at the column heading.

Hold down the left mouse button.

Move the column to its new location.

Release the button.
To get back the original column order

Select the All Other Settings option in Restore Defaults (right-click your mouse on the highlighted icon, then select Restore Defaults from the popup menu that appears, or select Restore Defaults from the Sage 300 desktop's Object menu).
The columns will then display in the order they were in when Sage 300 Payroll Services was first installed.
