Propagating Currency Rates

All companies associated with the system database use the same currency rate data as the system database's master copy. However, you can set up your system so that changes you make to currency rates must be manually propagated to companies.

To propagate currency rates for a range of dates:

1. Open Common Services > Currency > Currency Rates.
2. Click Propagate.
3. Specify a range of rate dates to propagate rate additions, updates, and deletions (previously committed to the system database).
   • If the From Date field is blank, every record whose rate date is on or before the To Date is propagated.
   • If the To Date field is blank, every record whose rate date is on or after the From Date is propagated.
   • If both dates are blank, all rates are propagated.
4. Click Propagate to propagate all of the rate changes in the specified range.

   Tip: You can propagate several date ranges, one after the other, without having to close the Currency Rates screen.
