You can delete account sets one at a time using the I/C Account Sets Screen.
Before trying to delete an account set, it is a good idea to assign the Inactive status to the record, to ensure that no further items are assigned to it. You can then wait until the end of the fiscal or calendar year to delete it (depending on the method you use to accumulate item statistics).
You use the I/C Account Sets Screen to make account sets inactive.
Note: You cannot delete an account set if any items are assigned to it. You must assign its items to another account set, or delete the items.
Identifying Inactive Account Sets
Print the Account Sets report to identify inactive account sets. If an account set is inactive, the date it was made inactive appears on this report in the Inactive On field. For more information, see Printing the I/C Account Sets Report.
