Printing the I/C Bills of Material Report

The Bills Of Material report lists the component items and quantities required to build the master items in your Inventory Control system.

To print the Bills Of Material report:

  1. Open Inventory Control > I/C Setup Reports > Bills of Material.
  2. Specify the order in which to list bills of material. More...
    • Item Number. List bills of material in order by master item numbers.
    • Category. Group bills of material by the item categories specified for the report.
    • Item Segment. List bills of material by item numbers that contain the specified segment, grouped by the specified range of segment codes.
    • Optional Field Entries. List bills of material by the contents of the selected optional field. These options appear only if you have added optional fields to the I/C Bills of Material screen using the I/C Optional Fields setup screen.
  3. Specify the range of item numbers, categories, segments, or optional field entries to include in the report.
  4. To include the unit cost and assembly cost for each of the component items and the total assembled cost (based on the average actual cost), select Include Costs for Each Item, and then specify a location in the Location field that appears.
  5. To list components for items that are themselves built from subassemblies, select Include Component BOMs.

    The report will list components of subassemblies immediately below the master component item.

  6. Click Print.
