Printing Inventory Worksheets
Counting and Reconciling Inventory Quantities
For an overview of the complete stocktaking process, see Counting and Reconciling Inventory Quantities.
You can print the inventory worksheets (which were generated using the I/C Generate Inventory Worksheet screen) to use when taking a physical count of inventory. The people performing the physical count can then write the quantities for each unit of measure on the worksheet.
- Run Day End Processing to include the latest costing information in the report.
- Generate a worksheet for each location you plan to perform a physical count.
To print the I/C Physical Inventory Worksheets:
-
Inventory Control > I/C Physical Inventory > Inventory Worksheet.
- In the I/C Inventory Worksheet report screen, you can limit the worksheets to print by specifying a range of inventory locations for From Location and To Location.
- In the Include section of the screen, select whether to include the following information on the printed worksheets:
- Unit cost for each item
- Quantity on hand for each unit of measure defined for each item
- Comment line, where users doing the physical count can write remarks
- Inactive items
Note: The Inactive Items option is selected by default. If you have many inactive items, you can reduce the length of the worksheet by not selecting this option.
- Click Print.
