I/C Serial Numbers Screen

Open Inventory Control > I/C Items and Price Lists > Serial Numbers.

Overview

Use the I/C Serial Numbers screen to:

  • View the status of a serial number. (For example, serial numbers that have been sold have a Not Available status.)
  • Edit details for a serial number, such as the contract code and optional fields.
  • Open the I/C Items screen to view or edit information for a selected serialized item. (Click the Items button.)
  • Open the Serial Number Transaction Inquiry screen to view transaction history for a selected serial number, and drill down to source documents for greater detail. (Click the Transactions button.)

To see which serial numbers have been reserved for upcoming orders, print the Reserved Stock report using the I/C Serial Numbers Report screen. For more information, see Printing the Serial/Lot Stock Listing Report.

Note: You cannot create new serial numbers using this screen. Use the Serial/Lot Reconciliations screen to do so. (For more information, see Reconciling Serial Numbers and Lot Numbers .
