O/E Bank Rate Screen

This field displays the bank code and description for the batch.

Note: Each batch is for a single bank.

This field displays the exchange rate associated with the currency, rate date, and rate type specified. To change the rate, enter the new rate or select it from the Finder.

The bank rate is the rate at which the prepayment amount will be converted to the functional currency.

You cannot change the currency for an existing batch. Order Entry uses the receipt currency specified for the existing batch.

If this is a new batch, enter the code for the currency in which you want to add prepayments to the batch, or choose the currency code from the Finder beside the Currency field. You must select a currency that is used by the specified bank.

If you have created a new batch, but if another user adds a receipt in a different currency to this new batch before you post the order (changing the default batch currency), Order Entry will report an error when you post, and you will have to select a different batch.

Enter the date for selecting the exchange rate associated with the rate type.

The program displays the session date, but you can change it.

Enter the code for the rate type to use when selecting the bank rate for the prepayment.

The program displays the rate type assigned to the currency table in Common Services, but you can change it to another of the rate types defined for your Sage 300 system.
