I/C Clear History Screen


Select this option to clear transaction history. Specify the year and period up to which to clear transaction history.

Select this option to clear transaction statistics from item records. Specify the year and period up to which to clear transaction statistics.

Enter the date up to which you want to clear serial numbers for items shipped and returned.

Select this option to clear sales statistics from item records. Specify:
- The year and period up to which to clear sales statistics.
- The method of selecting records to clear.

Specify the method by which to select item records from which to clear sales statistics. You can clear by item number, category, item segment, or the entries in any of the optional fields added to the Items screen.
If you select Item Segment, a Segment field appears with a list from which you select the segment you want.

Enter the segment code by which to select item records from which to clear sales statistics.

Enter the range of item numbers, categories, segment codes, or optional field entries for which you want to clear sales statistics.

Select this option to clear posting journals. Specify:
- The types of posting journals to clear (you can clear any combination of journals at a time, including: Receipts, Adjustments, Assemblies, Shipments, Transfers, Internal Usage).
- The day-end number up to which to clear printed posting journals. By default, the field displays the most recent day-end number.
Note: Posting journals are cleared only if they have been printed to a printer or file.

Enter the day-end number up to which to clear posting journals.
You clear posting journals for only one day-end number at a time.

Select this option to clear item labels you printed for completed receipts. Specify the range of receipts for which to clear labels.

Enter the range of receipt numbers for which to clear printed labels.

Select this option to clear expired contract prices. Specify the date up to which to clear expired contract prices.

Select this option to clear completed transactions (receipts, shipments, adjustments, assemblies, transfers, and internal usage transactions). Specify the date up to which to clear completed transactions.
- You cannot drill down to transactions after you delete them.
- You cannot enter a return for a receipt after you delete the receipt.

Select this option to clear serial numbers you have assigned to shipments and sales returns. Specify:
- The date up to which to clear serial numbers.
- Whether to clear history for numbers with vendor contracts that have expired.

Select this option to clear lot numbers you have assigned to shipments and sales returns.
- The date up to which to clear lot numbers.
- Whether to clear history for numbers with vendor contracts that have expired.

Select this option to clear serial number history.
- The date up to which to clear serial number history.
- Whether to clear history for numbers with customer warranties that have expired.

Select this option to clear lot number history.
- The date up to which to clear lot number history.
- Whether to clear history for numbers with customer warranties that have expired.

Use the I/C Clear History screen to selectively clear (remove) data from your Inventory Control system.
You can clear the following types of data:
- Transaction history
- Transaction statistics
- Sales statistics
- Printed posting journals
- Printed item labels
- Expired contract prices
- Transactions
- Serial numbers
- Lot numbers
- Serial history
- Lot history
You can clear one or more types of data at the same time.
