Desktop Ribbon - Objects

Objects tools allow you to add or rearrange folders or items on the company desktop, and update information for them. Note that you can only Cut or Delete items that you added to the desktop. For more information, select a command name.

Object menu:

  • Open — To open the currently selected item on the company desktop.
  • New — To create a new folder or item on the company desktop.
  • Restore Defaults — To restore default settings for the selected item.
  • Edit — To edit or customize the selected item.

Properties — To change information for the selected item.

Cut — To move the selected item to another folder.

Copy — To copy the selected item so you can paste it into another folder.

Paste — To paste a copied item into the selected folder.

Delete — To delete the selected item.
