I/C Reorder Report
Overview
The I/C Reorder report lists items that are out of stock or have low quantities on hand at the selected locations. The report includes the suggested reorder quantity, estimated cost to replenish, and names of the usual vendors for each item.
Tip: Compare this report to the I/C Reorder Quantities screen to check maximum quantities and projected sales for each period, to determine whether you need to order exactly the reorder quantity shown for each item.
When to Print
Print the report when you are ready to place orders for inventory items, and want to identify the items and quantities you need to order.
Information Printed on This Report
The top of the report shows the session date and the criteria you selected for the report.
For each item that meets the criteria, the report includes:
- The item number and description.
- The number and name of the vendor from whom you usually order the item as well as the vendor's item number. (This information only appears if you assigned vendors to the item in the I/C Items screen.)
- The location.
- The quantities on hand, on purchase order, and on sales order. (Purchase order and sales order figures are entered and updated by transactions posted in Sage 300 Purchase Orders and Order Entry, respectively.)
- The unit of measure.
- The start and end dates of the reorder period. (The period start date is set in the I/C Reorder Quantities screen. Inventory Control calculates the period end date based on the start date.)
- The minimum level and reorder quantity, which are set in the I/C Reorder Quantities screen.
- The most recent cost.
- The amount it would cost to purchase the full reorder quantity, which is calculated by multiplying the reorder quantity by the most recent cost.
