Adding Templates

Add templates that contain default header and vendor information to use in transactions. More...

You use the templates to automatically fill in fields in the transaction-entry screens with the information and selections you use most often, so you do not have to enter the information every time you add a transaction.

To add templates:

  1. Open Purchase Orders > P/O Setup > Templates.
  2. Type a unique code of up to six characters to identify the template.
  3. Type information and make selections, as needed, to define the template.

    Note: You must specify a tax group and terms code for each template.

  4. Click Add.
  5. To add another template, click the New New button icon beside the Template Code field, and then repeat steps 2 through 4 for each template you want to add.
