P/O Delete Inactive Records Screen

Note: This screen is available only if you are using Purchase Orders as a stand-alone program (that is, you do not use Inventory Control).

Open Purchase Orders > P/O Periodic Processing > Delete Inactive Records.

Enter the range of codes or numbers for the account set records you wish to delete, or use the Finder to select the ranges.

Enter the range of codes or numbers for the item records you want to delete, or use the Finder to select the ranges.

Enter a range of dates to indicate when a record must have been made inactive to delete it.

Purchase Orders selects records that have a status of Inactive and a corresponding "inactive" date within the range of dates you specify.

The default To date is the current session date.

If you do not want to delete all the records in a range of inactive dates, process each set of records in separate ranges.

Overview

If you use Purchase Orders as a stand-alone program, you can use the Delete Inactive Records screen to remove obsolete item and account set records. The form removes records only if they currently have an Inactive status and were set to inactive within the range of dates you specify.
