Checking Data Integrity
Use the Data Integrity screen to check for errors in your Sage 300 data.
- Sign on as the system administrator, or ask your administrator for security authorization to check data integrity.
- Back up your data in case you have to restore it later.
To check data integrity:
- Administrative Services > Data Integrity.

Select applications to check, in one of the following ways:
- In the Available Applications pane, select an application, and then click Include.
- Click All to select all applications.
The applications you select appear in the Check Applications pane.
Tip: Applications are checked in the order in which they appear in the Check Applications pane. You can change this order by selecting an application and then clicking + or −.
- If you want Sage 300 to correct minor errors automatically during the integrity check, select the Fix Minor Errors option.

If you want to limit the scope of the integrity check for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Services, Payroll, or Project and Job Costing:
- In the Check Applications pane, select one of the applications listed above.
- Click Application Options.
The Integrity Checker screen appears for the selected application. (For example, if you select Accounts Payable and then click Application Options, the A/P Integrity Checker screen appears.)
Note: The Application Options button is not available for Administrative Services, Common Services, Tax Services, G/L Subledger Services, or Notes.
- Select options for the data and records that you want to check or fix.
- Click Close.
- Click Check to start the integrity check.
- Print a copy of the error report.
- Correct errors that were not corrected during the check.
- To restore data, use the backup you made before beginning the integrity check.
