Entering Timecard Users
When you create an employee in Project and Job Costing who will enter timecard data, you must also create a user ID in Administrative Services.
- Open the Users screen, select the employee user name from the Finder, and then assign them the Account Type of Timecard.
- Open Project and Job Costing, and assign the same User ID to the same employee.

If you use Sage 300 Canadian or US Payroll, your Timecard user must be assigned to two security groups that permit timecard entry: one for Project and Job Costing, and one for the payroll program.
You can create as many Timecard users as you need for your business.
