Assigning Company Colors
If you use Sage 300 to manage multiple companies, you can assign a unique color to each company. This color appears in a border around Sage 300 screens, making it easier to see which company's information you are viewing and avoid data entry errors. More...
To assign company colors:
- Click Start > All Programs > Sage 300 > Database Setup.
- On the Database Setup screen, select the Assign Colors Automatically option.
Sage 300 assigns colors to all companies for which a database has been set up. In the Color column, a color swatch
indicates the color assigned to each company.
Note: Sage 300 does not assign colors to system databases. In the Color column, a No Color
swatch indicates that no color is assigned.
If you want to clear all company colors, click Clear All Colors on the Database Setup screen.
To select a different color for a company:
- On the Database Setup screen, select a company, and then click Edit.
- On the Edit Database Profile screen, click Select Color.
- Select a color, and then click OK.
- Click OK to close the Edit Database Profile screen.
In the Color column, a color swatch
indicates the new color assigned to the company.
To turn off the company color feature for a company:
- On the Database Setup screen, select a company, and then click Edit.
- On the Edit Database Profile screen, select the No Color option.
- Click OK to close the Edit Database Profile screen.
In the Color column, a No Color
swatch indicates that no color is assigned.
