Allowing Editing of Sales Statistics
If you select the Allow Edit Of Statistics option on the O/E Options screen, Order Entry users can add and edit transaction data for inventory items, and for sales and return quantities and amounts, for the years and periods for which you keep data Order Entry.
Before you start
- Print the O/E Sales Statistics report to create a record of your current sales statistics. After editing sales statistics, you can print this report again and compare the changes to verify that the information you entered is correct.
- On the I/C Options screen, select the Keep Sales Statistics and Allow Edit Of Statistics options.
- Collect transaction data for the current year and for any previous years that you want to add to Order Entry.
To allow editing of sales statistics in Order Entry:
- Open Order Entry > O/E Setup > Options.
- Click the Processing tab.
- Select the Allow Edit Of Statistics option.
- Click Save.
After changing O/E processing options
- Print the O/E Sales Statistics report to check the new record information and update your printed records.
- Compare the report you printed before changing or deleting statistics to the report printed after the changes to verify that you made the required changes correctly.
