Setting Up Customer Credit Check Options

You can set up credit checks to include:
- A specific amount overdue by more than a particular number of days (also specified in the customer record in Accounts Receivable).
- Pending (unposted) transactions in Accounts Receivable.
- Pending transactions in Order Entry.
- Pending transactions in other programs that work with Sage 300 programs.
Before you start
- Before making changes on the O/E Options screen, make sure that no other Order Entry screens are open for your company on your computer or on any other computer on a network. If other Order Entry screens are open, or if other users are working with Order Entry data, you cannot save changes for most of the options on this screen.
To change customer credit check options in Order Entry:
- Open Order Entry > O/E Setup > Options.
- On the Processing tab, select options in the Credit Checks group.
- Click Save.
