Setting Up a Multicurrency Accounts Receivable System

When adding a multicurrency customer, you follow the procedure described in Adding and Modifying Customer Records, with some additional steps, as noted in this topic.

To add a customer who uses a different currency:

  1. Open Accounts Receivable > A/R Customers > Customers.

  2. Click Create New.
  3. In the Customer Number field, enter the code for the new customer.
  4. Complete the fields on the customer record, as usual.

    Important! If you use multicurrency, be sure to choose an account set that uses the customer's currency.

  5. Click Save to add the new customer.
