Printing the I/C Overstocked Items Report
The I/C Overstocked Items report lists each item at each location for which the quantity on hand (plus the quantity on PO minus the quantity on sales order) exceeds the maximum or projected sales quantity assigned for the item and location.
Use the Quantity Greater than Maximum Level or Quantity Greater than Projected Sales version to show items with quantities that are over the maximum
quantity or over the projected sales quantity for the items in the
I/C Reorder Quantities screen.
Use the Annualized Turn and Earn Ratio version of this report to find
out quantity sold during the year so far. The report also shows the YTD turnover, margin percent, YTD sales, and
YTD cost for the items.
Before you start
- Run Day End Processing to include the latest costing information
in the report..
- To print meaningful data on some versions of this report, you must first
enter figures for the items in the Reorder Quantities screen.
To print the I/C Overstocked Items report:

Open Inventory Control > I/C Stock Control Reports > Overstocked Items.
- In the I/C Overstocked Items Report screen for Sort By, select the sort order for the report, which can be by item number, category, item segment, or an optional
field value.
If you want to limit the report to a range of values for the sort field, enter the range for From and To.
- For Print Items with, select the criteria to use to determine which items are overstocked.
- Quantity Greater than Maximum Level. Specify the percent over the maximum level.
- Quantity Greater than Projected Sales. Specify the number of days. You can also select the Include Items with No Projected Sales option.
- Annualized Turn and Earn Ratio. Specify the percent.
- Average Cost of Excess Quantity. Specify the cost.
- Most Recent Cost of Excess Quantity. Specify the cost.
- Select whether to include all locations, a specific location, or both. If you selected Specific Location or selected Specific and All Locations, you can also select a range of locations for From and To.
- Click Print.
The report appears in a new window. You can print the report or export it to a file.
