This is usually the date on which the batch was created. When you create a new batch, the session date is used by default as the batch date. However, you can change the batch date any time before you post the batch, provided the Ready To Post option is not selected.
The batch date is used as the default document date for new documents you add to the batch.
Once the batch is posted, the batch date becomes part of your audit trail. You use it to select batches to print on the batch listing and batch status reports.
This field displays the batch number entered on the main Entry screen. You can enter a description for the batch in the Batch Description field.
This field indicates whether a listing has been printed for the batch.
This field indicates whether the batch is open, posted, or ready to post.
This field displays the net amount of transactions entered for the batch.
This field indicates how the batch was created in Accounts Receivable:
This field displays the date the batch was last changed, or the date a document was last added to the batch.
This field displays the number of entries in the batch.
This field displays AR (for Accounts Receivable).
